New Year's Resolutions... For Other People
One of the most popular pieces in this weekend's New York Times is Bob Morris' My Resolutions For You, which includes the following irascible (and perhaps irresponsible) instruction for the new year: "I would like parents to stop assaulting the rest of us with their anxieties about schooling. As far as I (a child-free person with no right to have opinions about such things) am concerned, socially conscious, liberal parents should not be speaking with such horror about public schools just because they have 25 students in a class. Nobody is that precious."
