Friday Fun: Check Out Crumping, and YouTube

One of the things that's becoming more and more common on the Internet are little snippets of video that can be inserted into websites, newscasts, MySpace profiles, and the like -- no software required.

One of the most popular places to post or download these snippets is called YouTube. Click below to check out an example -- it's the trailer of the 2005 documentary called Rize, which features "crumping" (or "krumping"), a herky-jerky dance style from LA that was popularized by the movie.

Maybe you've seen kids trying to do it in the halls or outside of school and wondered what it was. Or not. Here's your chance to check it out. Just click the start button and make sure your speakers aren't on too high.

It's also worth pointing put that although crumping looks violent, it's not. It's actually an anti-gang activity. Rize is a really interesting movie- worth checking out.
