Are you a keen policy wonk, an open-minded educator, or a savvy journalist looking for a great part-time work experience this spring? If so, read on.

The time has come for the next super-smart, highly interested research assistant/intern for This Week In Education and/or District 299 Chicago Public Schools -- two of the best education blogs on the Internet, if I do say so myself.

The time commitment is about a half-day per week, at least some of which will be spent in real time (face to face or on the phone).

Applicants need to be be smart, interested, and brave -- and they should probably have a day job, since there's no pay involved only glory and some good work experience.

Responsibilities will vary depending on your interests and abilities.

The last set of folks who helped out did a variety of things, including researching and drafting posts, helping me upgrade the site (and start a new one), and investigating different ways to expand and improve the content of the site. All hail Lucy, Amanda, and Eric.

Please send inquiries (with a job history of some kind) to AlexanderRusso@gmail.com, including an explanation of why you're interested and what you'd hope to get from the experience.

Feel free to pass this announcement along to friends, students, or related listserves.
