Inside The NYT Education Machine

Everybody thinks the Times' coverage is biased, focused on the wrong things, and generally off. At least that's what I get from the fascinating little Q and A with the Times' education editor that was posted earlier this month (Talk to the Newsroom). I wish there had been more about how the Times covers education, past controversies (Richard Rothstein, charter school coverage), and what direction it's heading in the future, but still it's still a useful peek inside the NYT machine.
