I think people are planning too many graduations. My wife and I have had this conversation several times... the sheer number of graduations (preschool, kindergarten, 6th grade, 8th grade, 12th grade, college) devalues each one. Preschoolers and kindergarteners probably won't remember their graduations. Are these for the parents? Are parents worried that these might be the only graduations they get to see? Have we lowered expectations?
