Bush Making Education Bill a Priority AP
President Bush said yesterday that renewing the No Child Left Behind Law will be a priority for him next year and acknowledged the law isn't working as well for parents as it should.

Threat Shuts All Culpeper Schools WaPo
School officials had shut the county's eight public schools, three prviate schools and four day-care centers, keeping more than 7,000 students out of the classroom for the entire day after a threat was made that schools would be bombed.

Hispanic kids bolster boom at U.S. schools AJC
The Pew Hispanic Center released a report yesterday found Georgia and other Southeastern states have seen the nation's largest percentage growth in enrollment of Hispanic students in their public schools.
